Activities for the second section of the class

Here you'll find all the activities that will be carried out in the second section of the class.

Application activity (assessment)

The application activity is a classroom assessment that consist in fulfill some tasks from a worksheet in maximum 15 minutes. The last point is especially design for the early finishers.

Hands on activity

In this activity the classroom will be organized in groups but the students will work individually. They will be provided with some worksheets and magazine sheets. The worksheet has some big squares to be filled with specific figures/shapes and colors from the magazine sheets, which include the shapes worked before. The students will have 15 minutes to cut and glue them on the according section in the worksheet. If they cannot finish it during that time they can do it as homework.

Close-Up Activity

To wrap up the class, in 3 minutes we will review and socialize/discuss with the children what have been worked during the whole lesson. Finally we will show them a song of 2 minutes long, which makes reference to the adjectives used and includes the question asked in the warm up activity about their favorite color.
